You, the patient: You are the key person in our Team. Please be sure to provide accurate information to our providers so we can set appropriate and attainable goals for you.

Your family: We encourage families to join the Health Centre. Biologic, genetics, social history and economic factors all have an impact on your health.

The MD: We have several physicians on our team. They work in collaboration with other team members. Each patient is assigned a specific physician.

The Nurse Practitioner: The NP is a Registered Nurse with extensive training who can function independently to provide primary care within a specific scope of practice. Our NP's work in collaboration with the MD's to manage your health care.

The Physician Assistants: Works collaboratively with supervising physicians to provide the best care possible to our community.

Registered Practical Nurse: Works within the team to provide primary health care to individuals. The RPN's scope of practice will meet the nursing needs of the community. She is involved in patient education, advocacy, treatment and management of chronic disease.

Dietician: Works within the team to provide assessment of nutrition and nutrition related disorders. She will discuss your need in order to promote a healthier community.

Psychotherapist/Social Worker: Works with the team to plan and coordinate treatment for patients in need. They counsel clients in individual and group sessions to assist them in dealing with any issues they may have.

The Medical Support Staff: These staff members are specially trained in medical procedures that support the MD's and NP's. They also work to keep our lab functioning Monday through Friday.

The Receptionist staff: Book all of your appointments and direct your calls to the appropriate individuals.

The Manager and Executive Director: Report to the Board of Directors and carry out the directions set forth by the Board. They carry out directions set out by The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.

Volunteers: We are currently building a volunteer program for people who live in our community and have the time and interest to provide services that will help support our mission.

The Board of Directors: Are a volunteer group who give direction and oversight in the development and management of the Health Centre.
