Statement Regarding Vaccine Distribution

Dear HHC Patients and Caregivers,
You may have seen or read in the news that doctors and nurse practitioners will be contacting patients over 80 years of age about COVID-19 vaccination. We do not have all the details about the booking system and vaccine sites just yet, but we will let you know as soon as we have information to share. Local Public Health Units are leading vaccination planning and the HHC will follow their lead. The HHC will start contacting enrolled patients to book appointments as soon as we have been advised of the roll-out plan for our Family Health Team by the Windsor Essex County Health Unit. Planning is actively underway and we will be in contact with priority groups as soon as we are permitted and we will do so with WECHU guidance.
